Eikosphere team members attended the COP 17 in Durban and reported back that the most exciting event of the COP 17 was the World Climate Summit. The suummit had approximately 800 registered attendees from five continents and active discussions with over 100 speakers – all high-level experts in their industry and fields.
Participants heard from international luminaries and pioneers like President Jacob Zuma, 6 of his Ministers, Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC, Dr. Zweli Mkhize, Premier of Kwazulu Natal, José Maria Figueres, Mary Robinson, and Connie Hedegaard, EU Commissioner on Climate Action and many CEOs from leading companies.
