Eikosphere produced a short film visualizing global drivers to biodiversity loss and future scenarios for protection of biodiversity and ecosystem integrity. The script was based on the work of the Millennium Ecosystem Project and depictions of our global society either orchestrated by international collaboration, controlled geo-politically by individual nation states, organized by local communities, or underpinned by advanced technology and future design.
Future Horizons served to activate a lively dialogue among leading conservation funding organizations at the meeting to identify optimal leverage points for injecting resources into activities that will return the greatest good to the continued vitality of ecosystems and societies.
