Global Yes Summit-Rework the World, Leksand, Sweden, June 2010
The Eikosphere began working with the Taellberg Foundation and Global Yes Campaign in March, 2010 to design a program of service to the Young Global Sustainability Leaders who were the target focus of the Rework the World Summit in beautiful Leksand, Sweden this June, 2010. The goal of the Summit was to bring individuals effecting change in their communities together to transform their single entrepreneurial efforts into significant, collaborative forces for large scale change. Over 1,700 people from all over the world contributed to the ReThink Sessions, ReWorkshops, Plenaries, and Panels to tackle important challenges from distribution of Renewable Energy, to sustainable Land-Use, access to clean Water, sustainable Cities built for people, empowerment of Young People.
Over the course of the 4 days, two Eikosphere production teams worked directly with 40 Global Change Makers from all over the world in one-to-one sessions to offer reflection on their communication of their core brand, product, and service. This consultation resulted in the production of short project pitch videos for each of the Change Makers. The Eikosphere would like to thank the Global Yes Campaign chaired by Poonam Ahluwalia, The Taellberg Foundation; Michael Kaliski (Omniquest Media, USA) and Rashidi Faraji (Femina HIP, Tanzania), and Jim Wine (Taellberg, Sweden) for their production talent; Johanna Bernstein and Martin Frick for consulting on the project, and Elissa Bernstein and Steve Lecky for coaching a number of the Change Makers before the Summit.
