COP 14, Poland, December 5, 2008
Together with the Danish Cultural Institute, we consulted with the City of Poznan to create a workshop and design challenge during COP 14 that was focused on sustainable urban design in Poznan (as a representative growing urban center in Poland and other Eastern European countries). In a three-hour symposium, designers, architects, business leaders in the creative industries, and urban planners discussed problems and scenario solutions to energy-efficient, low-carbon urban design. Program elements following COP 14 may include a creative workshop with few leading Polish artists and designers, an exhibition of their art relevant to climate mitigation strategies in Eastern European cities for the Danish Design Week (October 2009).
