The World Energy Council is the principal impartial network of leaders and practitioners promoting an affordable, stable and environmentally sensitive energy system for the greatest benefit of all. Formed in 1923, the Council is the UN-accredited global energy body, representing the entire energy spectrum, with more than 3000 member organisations located in over 90 countries and drawn from governments, private and state corporations, academia, NGOs and energy-related stakeholders.

The Partnerships for SDGs online platform, managed by the Division for Sustainable Development, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DSD/DESA) and initially developed in response to a mandate set out by the Rio+20 Conference (paragraph 283, Future We Want), has been improved to bett er respond to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in order to function as a tool to inform all stakeholders on initiatives carried out by multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and for linking progress of those initiatives to various follow-up mechanisms of the 2030 Agenda, in particular to the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).

The Yasuni Research Station supports pure scientific research and applied research on the sustainable use of resources. Additionally, they advise the indigenous communities that live in Yasuni National Park and the contiguous Waorani Reserve so they may improve their life conditions within the framework of a socio-ecological equilibrium, in accordance with the Man and Biosphere Reserve distinction held by Yasuni (UNESCO, 1989).
YES provides a platform that excites youth, engaging them in a powerful role with their governments and other partners to promote entrepreneurship. In 55 countries young people have developed YES Country Networks that works with diverse stakeholders to promote entrepreneurship education, business development services, business formation, mentorship networks and links with markets and finance.
